おもひで深い波除神社。
江戸時代、1659年から今も親しまれています。
「災難を除き、波を乗り切る」 波除稲荷様が祭られております。
ここで子供の七五三を執り行い、毎年2月3日は豆ならぬ「菓子蒔き」に参加し、
お歯黒祭、築地獅子祭など参加させていただきました。

そして隅田川に誘われると見えてくるのが勝鬨橋。
日露戦争に勝ったときに、築地と月島を結ぶ「勝鬨の渡し」が設置され、
それが由来となり昭和15年「勝鬨橋」という橋ができたそうです。

これ、跳ね橋なんですよ、今は跳ねないけど。
真ん中まで歩くと、今はもう動かない信号機があって、
躍動する昭和を感じさせます。

I have lots of memories in this shrine, "Nami-yoke Jinja". *Jinja = "shrine" in Japanese
Since 1659 in Edo era, it has supported our day-to-day life and our minds.
Nami-Yoke means "Evade disasters, take over the waves".
Nami-yoke Jinja provides "Seven, five and three" occasions for kids,
and "sweets and snacks spread" instead of "beans" on 3rd of Feburary every year.
The traditional festivals are there such like "Ohaguro-sai" and "Tsukiji Shishi-sai".

Whileas Kachidoki-bridge locates near by.
Sumida-river temptates you to go for a walk around this attractive bridge.
This bridge constructed in 1940 based on "Kachidoki ferry" in Japan-Russia war.
This is the drawbridge, for many ships passing through.
Nowadays you can't see its role, however, it makes you feel nostalgia of Japan.
When you walk in the middle of the bridge, you can find the obsolete signal standing there.
